I had been hearing rave reviews for the famous Station Burger for some time, I finally decided to try it out when I moved into the neighborhood. My first experience with it was excellent. It was unique and interesting. Several weeks later I got a hunkering for another burger and I dialed them up. when I ate that burger I could not help but think the patty seemed terribly under seasoned. While this made the burger less than mediocre I figured it was a one off. Fast forward three months and three sandwiches later, as it turns out my first experience was the one off. After 4 or 5 burgers it is very clear that they use a frozen patty and refuse to put even salt or pepper on them. On one occasion my wife ordered a regular cheese burger with bacon and it was inedible. the patty, again, had no flavor, and the bacon was soggy and gross. I will not eat there anymore, I suggest that if you are interested in a burger in town go to the choo choo grill or stellas, those places sell good food. In my opinion, not counting my first experience, you can find a better cheeseburger at any fast food place in the city.

The Station Burger was pretty good. My pescatarian friend got the salmon burger and also enjoyed it. I'll come back for that burger again.

This place was really, really good. I've never seen anyone pull off Polish, Mexican, and American food in the same restaurant before (or even try), but the menu was really appetizing. I wouldn't suggest going here if you're looking for something super adventurous, but if you're in the mood for a burger basket with fries or a fried cod sandwich, this is it. They also serve a bunch of their sandwiches on a pretzel bun, which was a delicious surprise. The only word of warning I'd say is that if you're planning on eating out, pick an "off time," because the inside is pretty cramped, with only three tables. There are some outside options, though.

Went to Wealthy Street Station for lunch today. Ordered the Boca Station and my son had the kids hot dog. Both were delicious. The ambiance is nothing special. Yes, some crumbs on the table, but we managed. I loved my burger, which had some fried jalepeno and onions with chipotle sauce on it. I'd go back, especially once it is warm and we can eat Al Fresco.

Little dive on Wealthy street. The menu has wide range of selections from burgers, sandwiches to polish food. We always get freshly made food and great price. The service is good. Small dinning area, however. Best favor is still their burgers. I have never tried their polish food before but everyone loved it.

I went here with my two sons for a burger experience and to find out if the "Station Burger" hype from a local reporter who crowned the Station Burger the best burger in Grand Rapids in 2008 still lived up to its reputation. To the point, like other reviewers have said (unfortunately I didn't read reviews here first) the foundation of the burger needs to be the beef patty and here they fail miserably. It tastes completely bland and like it was frozen beef with no seasoning but trust me salt & pepper isn't going to help much. For 7 bucks (no side) I expect a high quality fresh beef that's at least round and good seasoning. Granted it's a 1/2 lb but I'd prefer 1/3 lb of high quality beef for the money. For another small burger joint experience we'll try Choo Choo's Grill in the area that does advertise hand formed fresh ground round patty. Also recommend The Cottage Bar downtown that uses Angus beef and was voted best house burger in Michigan by USA Today survey.

Station burger is amazing. Ambience is cool and service is top-notch. Plus, who else has a Polish-Mexican-American menu?

So far, my favorite burger joint on the planet. From the BBQ to the Station Burger, it's all of the yummy. Great pricing as well.

There's a dude behind the counter who has worked there for eternity. He is so friendly. I love people who obviously care about their job instead of treating it like an inconvenience for me to be a patron there. It's a tiny little spot with piping hot burgers. Literally, piping hot. Instead of someone making the burger, allowing it to sit in a window waiting for a server to deliver it, etc the burger goes basically from point A to point B (my mouth). When we eat there, we don't think about calories. If you're worried about calories, just throw it back up, after you've enjoyed the experience. Wealthy Station Burger is the bomb. One time people across the street were protesting GMOs in an empty parking lot. What's a GMO?

I wish that 3.5 stars was an option. Anyway, Wealthy Street Station is okay. The food is generally good and I love that I can get a burger, pierogies, and fried okra in the same restaurant. But the service is sooooo slooooooow. It's not uncommon to wait 20-30 minutes for your food, even when they're not busy, and they don't have a lot of seating. This means that I don't visit often, because I'm usually looking for a quick spot to grab lunch. If they sped things up a bit I'd probably be in once a week.

I've only ever had the Western BBQ Burger here, but it is the best burger in Grand Rapids and makes me wish that calories didn't exist. Also, this is take-out food, you don't really want to eat here if you can help it. The dining area is clean but tiny.

I had their Polish dinner, and by the end of my meal I was delightfully stuffed. The portions were good and the price right on the money. The lady at the counter was great and the service good. I take away one star for not having clean tables. All the tables had bits of what the other folks had eaten before me. Any how the food was good. The pierogies and golabki were amazing. The stuffed cabbage were nicely done and easy to cut into. The sausage was good as well. Over all the food was good and the place is nice.
